The ergonomic, pen-style gas torch provides a soft, even heat ideal for heat shrink applications, featuring a clear fuel chamber for easy monitoring of butane levels and a slide control for temperature adjustment. The high-quality G5 polyolefin tubing included in the kit has a 2:1 shrinkage ratio, is highly flexible, flame retardant, and resistant to common fluids and solvents. This kit is perfect for quick and professional repairs of worn or cracked vehicle wiring insulation or for insulating new wiring connections, providing everything needed in one convenient package. The torch uses butane lighter gas (6ml capacity) for a maximum flame temperature of 1300°C and offers a 20-minute run time.
