FAQs

How do I replace the lead?

Remove the old lead from the pen. Insert a new lead into the pen until it is secure.

What surfaces can the Dry-Marker be used on?

The Dry-Marker can be used on wood, metal, concrete, and many other surfaces. It's always advisable to test on a hidden area first.

Is the sharpener replaceable?

The sharpener is built into the holster and is not designed to be replaced separately. The holster is durable and the sharpener should last for the life of the pen.

What are the dimensions of the Dry-Marker?

The dimensions are not specified but the product is ergonomically designed for ease of use.

How do I clean the Dry-Marker?

Wipe the pen and holster with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

Are replacement leads readily available?

Yes, replacement leads are available for the Hultafors Dry-Marker.

Troubleshooting

Markings are faint or not visible.

Sharpen the lead using the built-in sharpener. Check the lead for damage and replace it if necessary. Ensure you are using the correct surface type for the lead.

Pen is difficult to remove from the holster.

Ensure no debris is obstructing the pen's removal. If the holster is new, the fit may be snug; repeated use will loosen it slightly.

Lead breaks easily.

Apply less pressure when marking. Use a surface appropriate for the lead type. If the issue persists, replace the lead.
