To apply these tiles, simply peel away the backing paper and stick the tile over existing flat tiles or plastered wall, butt together, no need to grout. Note the surface is waterproof, but these are not suitable for inside shower cubicles. DC-Fix easy-application peel and stick wall tiles are perfect for a budget-friendly splash back makeover. Suitable for kitchens and bathrooms, the concrete effect tiles add colour and texture to provide an instant transformation in no time. No special tools or professional tilers are needed, simply peel away the backing paper and stick over clean flat tiles or a painted wall. The tiles can be cut with a utility knife, just score and snap. The water resistant surface makes them easy to wipe clean. Each tile is 15cm x 15cm (1.2mm thickness). Application: 1) Use to cover existing splash-backs without the grout lines showing through. 2) Let the product acclimatize in the room for 48 hours prior to application. 3) Allow 4 weeks for newly painted surfaces to fully cure. 4) Measure the area to be covered before ordering to ensure you order the right number of tiles. 5) Remove the backing paper prior to application, the self-adhesive tiles butt together, no grouting required. 6) Score tile with a utility knife and snap back. Aftercare: 1) Tiles are water resistant, but not suitable for wet areas like a shower cubicle. 2) Avoid scrubbing and using harsh abrasive chemicals. 3) Splashes wipe off effortlessly, but remove spillages that may stain e.g. curry. 4) Remove tiles by using a flat headed screwdriver to carefully prise the tile away from the surface. Clean away any remaining adhesive residue with warm soapy water. 5) Keep away from direct heat like a gas hob. 6) Tiles are steam resistant and once bonded, should not lift off easily.
