The Prosperplast Balcony Box Trough Plant Pot is designed for urban gardeners, apartment dwellers, and homeowners looking to maximize limited outdoor space on balconies, patios, or terraces. Its primary benefit is a space-efficient, 80cm-long profile that allows for dense planting of flowers, herbs, or ornamental greens, though users should note that the large 44-liter volume can become quite heavy once filled with wet soil.

No, the planter typically comes without pre-drilled holes, allowing you to customize the drainage setup yourself.
Yes, but since it does not have drainage holes, you will need to use a saucer or waterproof liner to prevent water damage to your floors.
When filled with wet soil and plants, the unit can weigh upwards of 40-50kg depending on the medium used; ensure your support system can handle this weight.
Yes, the plastic construction is designed to be UV stable, meaning it resists fading and structural degradation when exposed to sunlight.
The material is durable, but in extreme freeze-thaw climates, it is recommended to store it in a shed or garage to prolong its lifespan.
Drill additional drainage holes in the base to ensure excess water can escape.
Verify that your mounting brackets are properly tightened and load-rated for the weight of the pot plus wet soil.
Wipe with a soft cloth dipped in warm, soapy water and rinse gently with a hose.
To prepare the Balcony Box for planting, first verify if you require drainage holes; if so, drill small holes through the designated indentations on the base. For mounting, ensure you use heavy-duty railing brackets rated to hold at least 40-50 kg to account for the weight of the planter, wet soil, and plants. For care, simply wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap during the change of seasons. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents, as these may compromise the finish. During winter, if you live in a climate with extreme freezing temperatures, it is advisable to move the pot to a sheltered area to prevent potential material stress.
