Product Information

Full details

This Italeri 1/72 scale model kit features the AH-1/AB-47 helicopter, also known as the Sioux. This aircraft is recognized as one of the first true flying machines with rotating wings. Originally designed for the U.S. Army as the H-13, it was adopted by many Western nations. The version in this kit represents units produced under license in Great Britain and Italy, where it was used for training and served in reconnaissance and ambulance roles well into the sixties. The kit contains unassembled plastic parts. Cement and paint are required to complete the model as shown. The finished model measures 13.7cm.
