Full details
CC Moore Salmon Micro Feed is designed for serious anglers looking to create a highly attractive carpet of food particles to hold fish in a swim for extended periods. This product is ideal for those targeting specimen fish who need a reliable way to build feeding confidence, though users should be mindful that its high solubility means it disperses quickly and may require frequent topping up to maintain a constant attraction zone.

FAQs
Is this product PVA friendly?
Yes, CC Moore Salmon Micro Feed is entirely PVA friendly and can be used in solid bags or stick mixes.
Can I use this for surface fishing?
While primarily designed for bottom fishing, it can be used sparingly to create a scent cloud, though it is not a floating feed.
How long does the attraction last in the water?
Due to its high solubility, it provides an intense, immediate attraction, but it will disperse within 30-60 minutes depending on water temperature and current.
Should I soak the feed before using it?
It is not strictly necessary, but slightly dampening it with lake water or a liquid attractor can help it form tighter clusters for spodding.
Can I add this to groundbait?
Absolutely. Adding it to groundbait significantly increases the food signal and protein content of your chosen mix.
Troubleshooting
Product is clumping inside the bag
Moisture has likely entered the bag. Keep in a dry environment and use a desiccant pack if storing for long periods.
Feed is dispersing too quickly in deep water
Mix the micro feed with a heavier base like hemp or pellets to help it sink faster and remain on the lake bed.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Rapid dispersal for instant attraction
- High protein and oil levels for fish stimulation
- Excellent for creating long-term feeding carpets
- Highly versatile with other particle baits like hemp or pellets
Cons
- High solubility leads to faster breakdown in water
- Requires regular re-introduction to maintain swim activity
- Can be easily depleted by nuisance fish
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the effectiveness of Salmon Micro Feed, integrate it into your baiting strategy by mixing it dry or slightly dampened to achieve your preferred consistency.
- Compatibility: It is fully compatible with all fishmeal-based boilies, pellets, and particle mixes. It is PVA-friendly, making it suitable for solid bag work.
- Storage: Keep the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the vitamins and fish oils. Ensure the bag is tightly sealed after every session to prevent moisture ingress, which could cause the crumb to clump or degrade prematurely.
