This Alessi corkscrew is for wine enthusiasts who appreciate functional design and sustainable craftsmanship. Its key benefit is an ergonomic grip for effortless cork removal, combined with a visually appealing aesthetic. A minor caveat is that its distinctive design may require a specific care approach to maintain its finish. As part of the '100 Values Collection', it celebrates Alessi's centenary with a hand-turned beechwood construction available in vibrant colors, including this yellow model.

Ensure the corkscrew is centered on the cork before twisting. Apply steady, even pressure. If the cork is very dry or brittle, consider moistening the top edge of the cork slightly.
Twist the corkscrew slowly and deliberately. If a piece of cork remains in the bottle, use a fine sieve to strain the wine.
Lightly apply a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax polish specifically designed for wooden utensils, following product instructions. Wipe off excess and allow to dry.

Care Instructions:
To maintain the beauty and longevity of the beechwood handle, avoid prolonged exposure to water. Clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the corkscrew in water. For the metal parts, wipe clean with a dry cloth.
