This Kenable USB4 cable is designed for users seeking the latest in high-speed data transfer and power delivery, primarily benefiting professionals and enthusiasts working with large files, multiple high-resolution displays, or external graphics solutions. Its key win is the 40Gbps bandwidth and Thunderbolt 3 compatibility, offering significant speed improvements and versatility. A caveat is that achieving maximum speeds requires both the cable and connected devices to support USB4/Thunderbolt 3 standards.

The primary advantage of USB4 is its significantly increased bandwidth, up to 40Gbps, which is double that of USB 3.2 Gen2x2. It also integrates Thunderbolt 3 technology for broader compatibility and advanced features like DisplayPort Alt-Mode 2.0.
To achieve the maximum 40Gbps speed and full functionality, you need a USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port on your computer. The cable is backward compatible with older USB Type-C ports, but will operate at their maximum speeds.
Yes, this cable supports up to 100W Power Delivery (PD 3.0). If your laptop supports USB-C charging and can accept 100W or less, this cable can be used for charging, provided the power source also supports sufficient wattage.
Yes, the cable is based on Thunderbolt 3 technology and is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3 devices, offering the same 40Gbps performance.
The E-Mark (Electronic Marker) chip is a small chip within the cable that communicates with the connected devices. It helps manage and verify the power delivery capabilities (like 100W PD) and ensures safe, optimal data transfer speeds according to the USB4 specification.
Yes, thanks to DisplayPort Alt-Mode 2.0 support, you can connect multiple 4K displays (or potentially one 5K display at 60Hz) from a single USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port, provided your device supports this feature.
The cotton braid construction is designed to be more resistant to fraying and tangling compared to standard rubber or plastic jacketing, potentially increasing the cable's lifespan under normal use.
Ensure both connected devices have USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 ports. Verify that the cable is fully inserted into both ports. Try a different USB4/Thunderbolt port on your devices if available. Check if your device's firmware/drivers are up to date.
Confirm that your device supports 100W Power Delivery via USB-C. Ensure the power source (if applicable) can provide sufficient wattage. Check that the cable is securely connected to both the device and the power adapter/source.
Verify that your device supports DisplayPort Alt-Mode 2.0 over USB-C. Ensure your monitor is compatible with the resolution and refresh rate being output. Try a shorter or different USB4 cable to rule out cable defects.
Setup: Simply plug the USB Type-C connectors into the corresponding ports on your devices. For optimal performance, ensure both the source and destination devices have USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 ports.
Compatibility: This cable is designed to work with any USB Type-C port. However, to utilize the full 40Gbps speed and 100W Power Delivery, both connected devices must support USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 standards. It is backward compatible with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 devices, but will operate at the slower speeds of those standards.
Care: Avoid exposing the cable to extreme temperatures or moisture. Clean the connectors periodically with a dry, lint-free cloth. Ensure the cable is not bent sharply or subjected to excessive stress to maintain the integrity of the braided jacket and internal wiring.
