Product Information

Full details

The Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is designed for individuals seeking a natural, radiant complexion with buildable medium coverage. Its key benefit is a weightless, skin-like finish that blurs imperfections and provides up to 24 hours of hydration. A potential caveat is the need to carefully select the shade to achieve the best match, given the extensive range and undertone variations.

FAQs

How do I find my perfect shade?

Can I use this foundation if I have oily skin?

Yes, the formula is non-comedogenic and suitable for oily skin. For extended wear, consider using a mattifying primer and setting with powder, especially in the T-zone.

Is this foundation suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, it is tested under dermatological control and is formulated to be suitable for sensitive skin types.

What is the coverage level?

This foundation offers buildable medium coverage. You can wear it sheer for a natural look or layer it for more coverage.

How long does the hydration last?

The formula is enriched with hydrating ingredients and provides up to 24 hours of moisture.

Does it have a scent?

The Luminous Silk Foundation is known for its subtle, signature Armani Beauty scent, which is generally well-tolerated.

What is the finish of the foundation?

It provides a natural, luminous, and skin-like finish, often described as a 'glowy' or 'lit-from-within' appearance, without being overly dewy or oily.

Troubleshooting

Foundation looks cakey or heavy

Reduce the amount of product used. Ensure skin is properly moisturized before application. Blend thoroughly using a damp sponge or brush.

Shade appears too light or too dark

Consult the shade finder guide based on vein color (cool, warm, neutral undertones) and shade range (fair to deep). Consider a professional color match if unsure.

Product does not last long on oily skin

Apply a mattifying primer before foundation. Use a setting powder on areas prone to oiliness, such as the T-zone. Ensure the skin is properly prepped.

Foundation settles into fine lines

Ensure skin is well-hydrated. Apply a smaller amount of product. Use a smoothing primer. Set lightly with powder in areas where settling occurs.
