Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Jones Bootmaker Belt remains in top condition, proper care is essential. When not in use, store the belt hanging vertically or coiled loosely to prevent the leather from developing permanent creases. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or overly humid environments, as these conditions can damage the leather finish. If the leather becomes dusty, wipe it down gently with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning or to maintain the suppleness of the material, use a reputable leather conditioner sparingly. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on the gold hardware; a simple buff with a microfiber cloth is usually sufficient to remove fingerprints and maintain its luster.
