You should stop using the Swaddle Up when your baby shows signs of rolling over onto their stomach. This is a critical safety measure as the swaddle can impede their ability to roll back.

Refer to the sizing guide on the Love to Dream website or packaging. Ensure the swaddle fits snugly around the baby's chest and arms, and that their legs have room to move freely at the hips.

It is not recommended to use a sleep sack over the Swaddle Up. If additional warmth is needed, use Love to Dream sleep layers underneath the swaddle, ensuring the total TOG rating is appropriate for the room temperature.

The 1.0 TOG is ideal for room temperatures between 20°C and 24°C. It's suitable for warmer nights or rooms, and can be used in cooler seasons with appropriate sleep layers underneath, provided the total TOG is managed.

Unlike traditional swaddles that tightly wrap arms, the Swaddle Up allows arms to be positioned naturally upwards, facilitating self-soothing and reducing the startle reflex without restricting movement in a way that could be dangerous.

It is recommended to consult with your healthcare provider before using any swaddling product with a premature baby, as specific needs and safety precautions may apply. Ensure the product is appropriately sized.

Check if the swaddle is the correct size for your baby. Ensure the zipper is fully closed and not pinching the baby's skin. Adjust the fit to be snug around the chest but not too tight around the legs.

Ensure the room temperature is appropriate for the 1.0 TOG rating (20°C - 24°C). Consider if the baby needs a sleep layer underneath for added warmth. Rule out other causes of waking, such as hunger or discomfort.
