Full details
The Unistellar Smart Solar Filter is compatible with Unistellar Evscope 1 & 2 and Equinox 1 & 2, allowing you to observe the Sun in under 2 minutes. Safely witness solar eclipses and unique solar events. This filter is designed for seamless, all-in-one solar observation, featuring a smart GoTo Sun capability within the Unistellar App for effortless solar targeting. Simply connect your telescope during the day, attach the Smart Solar Filter, and the app will automatically locate the Sun. The filter is crafted from a premium polymer sheet, reducing the Sun's light intensity by 100,000 times for optimal and safe viewing, protecting both your eyes and your telescope. It is 100% safe for viewing through the eyepiece or via your smartphone. The Unistellar Smart Solar Filter enables you to explore the Sun's activity, including sunspots and faculae, and track the fluctuating Sunspot number. You can also use it to capture celestial events like the annular eclipse on October 14, 2023, and the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, to view the Sun's corona and the "diamond ring" effect. Designed for ease of use and safety, it ensures a secure fit on your telescope.
