FAQs

Are these gems suitable for infants?

No, they are strictly recommended for children aged 36 months and older due to the risk of choking.

Can these be used in water play?

While the acrylic is water-resistant, it is best to thoroughly dry them after use to maintain their clarity and prevent water spotting.

How many pieces are included in one set?

The set includes 10 pieces in total, each representing a different vibrant color.

Do I need a light table to use these?

No, while they look spectacular on a light table, they are perfectly functional and engaging in natural sunlight or on any flat surface.

Are the edges sharp?

No, the pieces are meticulously polished to ensure all edges are smooth and rounded for safe handling.

What is the diameter of each gem?

Each gem circle measures 25mm in length and width.

Troubleshooting

Surface appears cloudy or dull

Gently wipe the surface with a clean, damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and oils from skin.

Gems slide too easily during stacking

Place them on a high-friction surface like a felt play mat or a silicone tray to provide more stability for tall builds.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These gem circles require no assembly or batteries, making them ready for play immediately out of the box. They are fully compatible with other light-table-friendly sensory materials. To care for your gem circles, wipe them down with a soft, damp cloth to remove fingerprints or dust. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, as these can scratch the acrylic surface and diminish their light-reflecting quality. Store them in a small, secure container to prevent the loss of individual pieces.
