The Makita DUX18 18v LXT split-shaft motor unit delivers an effective output of 470 watts. It features a soft start system to protect the operator from initial power loading and Makita's 'Active Feedback Sensing Technology' (AFT), which shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly reduces or if the blade or line head snags. The tool has a brushless motor, a loop handle, overload protection, an electric brake, variable speed control, soft start, and constant speed control. It is a multi-tool system with versatile optional attachments for a range of applications and tool-less installation of attachments. This package includes one Grass Line Trimmer Attachment.
