What should I do if I experience side effects?

If you experience any side effects, such as dizziness, nausea, or mouth irritation, consult your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. If symptoms are severe, seek medical attention.

Troubleshooting

Lozenge does not dissolve properly

Ensure you are sucking the lozenge gently and not chewing it. The process should take about 30 minutes. If it dissolves too quickly, you may be sucking too vigorously.

Experiencing excessive nicotine side effects (e.g., dizziness, nausea)

You may be using too many lozenges or a strength that is too high. Reduce the number of lozenges used per day or consider the 1mg strength if you are experiencing strong side effects. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.

Cravings are not being managed effectively

Ensure you are using the lozenge as directed, allowing it to dissolve slowly. Consider the timing of use to address cravings proactively. Nicotinell is a tool to aid quitting; combining it with behavioral support can improve effectiveness.
