Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Gather all components of the kit and ensure you have any necessary tools, such as a hacksaw or jigsaw for cutting, a measuring tape, and a screwdriver.
- Measurement: Measure the required length for your handrail and cut the tubes to size if necessary.
- Bracket Installation: Mount the wall brackets at the desired height, ensuring they are securely fastened to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs. Use a level to ensure the brackets are aligned.
- Handrail Placement: Place the handrail tubes onto the installed brackets.
- Secure and Finish: Attach the end caps, and ensure all components are securely in place.
Compatibility:
The Rothley Matt Black Stair Handrail Kit is compatible with most interior staircases. Make sure the wall material is suitable for the provided wall plugs.
Care:
- Clean the handrail with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Regularly check the brackets and screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
