Full details
This Lindy 300m Fibre Optic HDMI & IR Extender is a high-performance solution for extending 4K 60Hz Ultra HD transmissions over incredible distances, not possible with traditional copper-based systems, using a single standard LC duplex multimode (50/125µm) fibre optic cable. It supports the HDMI 2.0 specification for highly detailed 4K Ultra HD resolutions with smart compression for a visually lossless picture. High Dynamic Range support enhances brightness, contrast, and color gamut, perfect for digital signage, residential installations, or sports venues. HDCP 2.2 compatibility ensures viewing of protected 4K content. Unlike copper systems, fiber optic cable provides immunity to RF and EMI, ensuring a stable signal in noisy retail or industrial environments. With a 300m extension capability, it offers installation flexibility; the transmitter connects to various HDMI sources like Blu-Ray players or PCs, while the receiver connects to a 4K display or projector. It can also support 4K@30Hz non-HDCP content up to 1.5km with single-mode fiber cable for longer-distance distribution. Included mounting brackets allow for neat installation, and a screw-type DC jack provides a secure power connection. Featuring bi-directional IR and RS-232 ports, it allows seamless control of source equipment from the display side, or control of the display from the HDMI source, offering simple, flexible user control. RS-232 support is also available for extending control signals in larger installations when IR is not used. This extender comes with a 2-year warranty.
