FAQs

What games is the MOZA MHG Flight Stick compatible with?

The MOZA MHG Flight Stick is compatible with a wide range of PC flight simulators, including MSFS2020, MSFS2024, X-plane 12/11/10, DCS, IL-2, War Thunder, and others that support standard flight stick inputs.

Does the flight stick require external power?

No, the MOZA MHG Flight Stick is powered via a single USB connection to your PC.

How do I customize the buttons and lighting?

You can customize button mappings, lighting effects, and other settings using the MOZA Cockpit software, available for download from the official MOZA Racing website.

Can the Z-axis be locked?

Yes, the high-precision Z-axis (yaw) can be locked when not in use through the MOZA Cockpit software, preventing accidental inputs.

What is the benefit of Hall-effect sensors?

Hall-effect sensors use magnetic fields to detect movement, offering greater precision, durability, and resistance to wear and drift compared to traditional potentiometer-based sensors. This results in a smoother and more reliable control experience.

Is the flight stick made entirely of metal?

The MOZA MHG Flight Stick combines Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic, carbon fiber, and metal components. The reinforced carbon fiber composite construction provides durability in key areas.

Can I mount this flight stick to a desk without a MOZA base?

While designed to integrate with MOZA flight bases, the flight stick can be mounted to a stable surface using appropriate mounting solutions, provided it offers secure positioning for use.

Troubleshooting

Flight stick not recognized by PC

Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the stick and the PC. Try a different USB port. Verify that MOZA Cockpit software is installed and up-to-date.

Inaccurate or drifting Z-axis (yaw) control

Check if the Z-axis is inadvertently locked. Recalibrate the stick through the MOZA Cockpit software. Ensure there are no physical obstructions around the base of the stick.

Buttons or switches not responding

Restart the flight simulator and your PC. Check button mappings within MOZA Cockpit and the game settings. Ensure the MOZA Cockpit software is running in the background.

RGB lighting not working or incorrect colors

Ensure the RGB lighting is enabled and configured within the MOZA Cockpit software. Verify that the lighting settings have been applied correctly.

Performance issues or stuttering in-game

Close unnecessary background applications. Ensure your PC meets the recommended specifications for your flight simulator. Update graphics drivers and the MOZA Cockpit software.
