Full details

The Cardinal X spinning reel series is reliable, smooth, and affordable. It features 4 bearings for light and smooth rotation, a strong smooth front-controlled drag, and a graphite body and rotor protecting zinc alloy internal parts. The reel boasts a strong, lightweight Abu Garcia design with a graphite body and rotor made from durable material. It includes a double anodized aluminum spool and a strong, diecast foldable handle with a soft rubber knob. With 3+1 high-quality stainless steel ball bearings, the reel offers very low resistance during rotation. The classic black and red color combination provides a luxury appearance. The high-performance fighting drag system features a quality felt washer front drag for reliable and consistent performance, crucial for fighting fish. It offers good stopping power with a maximum drag of 4kg / 8lb for sizes 1000-3000 and 5.5kg / 12lb for sizes 4000 and 5000. These multi-purpose fishing reels are affordable workhorses designed for various techniques, species, and applications, available in sizes 1000 to 5000 with a 5.2:1 gear ratio. Accurate distance casting is facilitated by a large diameter braid-ready aluminum spool, contributing to a high line retrieve per handle turn (72cm for the smallest size, 92cm for the 5000 size).
