The ODSUPPLIES 1/2 inch stopcock is an essential plumbing component designed for homeowners and professional contractors who need a reliable method for water flow isolation. It excels at providing secure, leak-proof control for residential and commercial plumbing systems, though users should ensure their pipe threading matches the standard 1/2 inch female-to-female configuration before beginning installation.

Yes, this stopcock is engineered to perform reliably across standard domestic water supply systems, including hot and cold lines.
No, this product is specifically designed for water supply control and should not be used in gas or fuel-related plumbing.
The stopcock is designed for use with standard 1/2 inch fittings, which typically include their own sealing mechanisms or rely on thread sealant.
It is designed for standard threaded pipe connections; you may need a threaded adapter if transitioning from PEX tubing.
It is recommended to cycle the valve at least once or twice a year to ensure it remains operable for emergency needs.
Ensure the fitting is tightened sufficiently and verify that enough plumber's tape was applied to the threads.
Check for debris blockage within the valve or apply a food-safe lubricant to the stem if the unit has been stationary for a long period.
To install, ensure the water supply is completely turned off at the main source. Clean the threads of the connecting pipes to remove debris or old sealant. Use plumber's tape or a suitable pipe compound on the male threads to ensure a watertight connection. When tightening, use an adjustable wrench to secure the fitting, being careful not to overtighten and strip the internal threads. For maintenance, periodically turn the stopcock handle to prevent mineral buildup and ensure the valve remains free to move in the event of an emergency.
