The Preston Absolute 5G Shallow Tray Unit is designed for dedicated match and coarse anglers who require organized access to terminal tackle while on the bank. This unit is specifically engineered to integrate perfectly with the Absolute 5G seatbox range, offering a low-profile storage solution for winders, hooklengths, and small accessories. While it excels at maximizing seatbox efficiency, users should note that it is limited to the Absolute 5G ecosystem and cannot be used as a standalone storage box without the base frame.

No, this unit is specifically designed for the Absolute 5G range and is not compatible with Inception models.
The tray features a shallow design specifically optimized for winders and flat terminal tackle items.
The unit is designed for modular organization, but standard internal dividers are often used to suit individual winder configurations.
Yes, you can stack multiple Absolute 5G modules provided your seatbox frame has the capacity to hold the additional height.
The material is water-resistant and durable, suitable for typical wet weather conditions experienced while fishing.
Check for debris or grit on the runners. Clean the sliding tracks with a soft brush and ensure the tray is level during insertion.
Inspect the locking pins for any obstructions or buildup of sediment. If the pin is damaged, ensure the tray is not being forced at an incorrect angle.
To install the tray, align the runners with the locking mechanism on your Absolute 5G seatbox frame and slide it until you hear a secure click. Compatibility is strictly limited to the Preston Absolute 5G range; it will not fit older Absolute or Inception series boxes. To maintain the unit, wipe it down with a damp cloth after use to remove bait debris or silt. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the plastic finish. Store in a dry environment to prevent any oxidation of the locking clips over time.
