This 1-meter black Kenable power extension cable is designed for users needing to extend existing IEC power cords or connect devices to a UPS. Its primary benefit is providing flexible cable management for computers, monitors, and UPS units. A potential caveat is its specific C14 to C13 connector types, requiring compatibility with your devices. Key features include a 1m length, straight C14 male and C13 female connectors, and durable black construction.

A C14 connector is typically male (with pins) and is found on the power input of devices like PCs and monitors, or the output of UPS units. A C13 connector is typically female (with sockets) and is found on the power cord for devices or the input of power supplies.
This cable is specifically designed for IEC connections (C14 to C13). It is suitable for devices with these power input/output types, such as PCs, monitors, and UPS units. It is not suitable for standard household plugs.
The cable uses 0.75mm² copper cores, which are suitable for typical PC and monitor power requirements. For very high-power equipment, verify its power draw against the cable's specifications.
VDE Approved indicates that the cable has been tested and meets the safety standards set by the Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik e.V. (VDE), a respected organization for electrical safety certification in Europe.
No, this is strictly a power extension cable designed for IEC C14 to C13 power connections only. It cannot be used to extend data cables like USB or HDMI.
While specific current ratings are not always detailed on the cable itself, 0.75mm² VDE approved cables typically support up to 10A, suitable for most standard computer equipment.
Verify that all connections are secure at both ends. Check that the original power cord and the extension cable are fully plugged in. Ensure the power source is active and the connected device is switched on.
Check for loose connections. Inspect the cable for any visible damage. Ensure the cable's copper cores (0.75mm²) are sufficient for the power draw of your connected devices; if powering high-draw equipment, a thicker gauge cable might be necessary.
Confirm you are using the correct connectors (C14 male to C13 female). This cable is not designed for standard wall plugs (e.g., Type G UK plug) or other non-IEC connectors.
