FAQs

How often should I give my dog these dental treats?

These treats are designed for daily use to provide continuous dental benefits.

Are these treats suitable for puppies?

These treats are intended for adult large breed dogs. Puppy dental care should be discussed with your veterinarian.

Can these treats replace brushing my dog's teeth?

While beneficial for dental health, these treats are a supplement and not a replacement for regular tooth brushing.

What are the main ingredients in Whimzees?

Whimzees are made from a limited number of natural ingredients including potato starch, glycerin, and other natural flavors.

My dog is a picky eater, will they like these?

Many dogs find the texture and shape appealing. However, individual preferences vary. You might consider trying a smaller pack first if available.

How should I store the treats?

Store in a cool, dry place, and ensure the bag is properly sealed to maintain freshness.

What is the difference between the mixed shapes and other varieties?

The mixed shapes offer a variety of textures and chewing experiences, while other varieties might focus on specific shapes or sizes. The core dental benefit remains consistent.

Troubleshooting

Dog swallows the treat too quickly.

Supervise your dog during treat time and encourage slower chewing. You can also try offering a smaller treat if available or a more challenging chew toy.

Dog shows no interest in the treat.

Ensure the treat is fresh. Some dogs may have specific preferences; try a different Whimzees variety or consult your vet about alternative dental solutions.

Digestive upset after consumption.

Discontinue use immediately and consult your veterinarian. This could indicate an intolerance to an ingredient or that the treat is too large for your dog.
