The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date watch is a pioneering timepiece inspired by Minerva watches of the 1920s and 30s. This stainless steel watch features a 41mm case and a black rubber strap with a fold-over clasp. The black 'Glacier' dial is engraved with the Mont Blanc mountain range, a compass, and ice axes, celebrating outdoor adventures. It has a unidirectional bezel, luminescent hands, and a date display protected by anti-scratch sapphire crystal glass. The watch is powered by the MB 24.17 automatic movement and is water-resistant up to 300 metres, conforming to ISO 6425 norms for diving watches. The glacier pattern dial, inspired by the Mer de Glace, is created using the gratté-boisé technique. It also includes an engraved case back and an interchangeable rubber strap with a fine adjustment system.
