Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Attach to Leader: Tie the Klinkhammer Adams Grey to your leader using a reliable knot like a clinch knot or a loop knot.
- Match to Conditions: Select the appropriate size (12, 14, or 16) based on the size of the insects the fish are feeding on and the water conditions. A size 14 is often a good starting point.
- Use Appropriate Tippet: Use tippet that matches the size of the fly and the expected size of the fish. Lighter tippet allows for a more natural presentation.
- Care: After each use, inspect the fly for damage. Store dry flies in a fly box to protect them from moisture and physical damage. Consider sharpening hook points periodically.
