FAQs

What is a circular polarising filter?

A circular polarising filter reduces reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces, enhances colors, and increases contrast in your images.

How do I know if my lens is compatible?

The Sony Circular PL Filter is compatible with lenses that have a 55mm filter thread. Check your lens specifications.

How do I clean the filter?

Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the filter's surface, removing any dust or smudges. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

Why are my photos darker when using the filter?

The filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens. You'll need to adjust your camera settings (ISO or shutter speed) to compensate.

When is the best time to use the filter?

The filter is most effective in bright, sunny conditions, especially when photographing landscapes, water, and reflective surfaces.

How do I adjust the filter's effect?

Rotate the filter while looking through your viewfinder or LCD screen until you see the desired effect on your image.

What is the warranty on the Sony Circular PL Filter?

Warranty information is not available in the product data. Please check the product packaging or contact the retailer for warranty details.

Increase the ISO or slow down the shutter speed to compensate for the light reduction.

The filter doesn't seem to be affecting the image.
