Loctite 542 is designed for the locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings as well as other cylindrical metal assemblies. This product cures. It is a medium strength sealant for fine threaded fittings up to 3/4 BSP, commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic installations. It is WRAS approved for drinking water. The sealant provides an instant low-pressure seal and is resistant to fuels, oils, coolants, and hydraulic fluids. It also locks connections against vibration loosening. The maximum pipe size it can be used with is 3/4". It is ideal for small fine threaded metal fittings, especially hydraulic fittings. Manufacturer: Henkel.
