Full details

Famous Dutch architect and designer originally launched the iconic crate collection in 1984. This relaunch is a Hay and Rietveld Originals collaborations which respects the genius original design. The Crate Dining Chair has the same precisely balanced proportions. Its gently sloping back ensures comfort and it has armrests which offer a great degree of support. The simplistic elegance of this design is symbolic of the Reietveld’s style; maximising comfort, functionality and style without wasting any space. Crafted in solid pine, with a water-based lacquered finish in different colour options, the Crate Dining Chair is suitable for a wealth of indoor and outdoor settings, and can be supplemented with optional seat cushions in selected textiles for extra comfort.
