Unica Akva Lacquer is a semi-gloss, water-based lacquer designed for interior and exterior wooden surfaces such as doors, windows, and furniture. It is easy and safe to use, belonging to the M1 building material emission class, meaning it has no harmful solvent emissions to the user or environment. This lacquer is also suitable for wooden garden surfaces and can be applied to previously painted, lacquered, or bare wood furniture. For metal furniture, priming with an anti-rust primer like Rostex Super Akva is recommended before application. Unica Akva Lacquer provides excellent UV and weather protection, does not yellow over time, and forms a water-repellent protective film. It is available in 90 translucent colours and can be applied using a synthetic brush or spray. Tikkurila products are canned in Finland, with the fill volume being 10% less than the unit measure to accommodate tinting.
