Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting the Time
- Pull the Crown: Gently pull the small knob (crown) on the side of the watch case outwards until it clicks once.
- Adjust the Time: Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hands display the correct time.
- Push the Crown Back: Once the time is set, push the crown firmly back into its original position. This also ensures the splashproof seal is maintained.
Bracelet Adjustment
The ion-plated gold alloy bracelet is designed to fit a standard wrist size. If the bracelet is too loose or too tight, it will need to be adjusted by a professional jeweler or watch repair service who can add or remove links safely.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: To maintain the watch's appearance, regularly wipe the case, bezel, and bracelet with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For light grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the alloy surfaces, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
- Water Exposure: Remember, this watch is splashproof, not waterproof. Avoid showering, swimming, bathing, or exposing it to heavy rain or direct streams of water. Remove the watch before washing hands vigorously.
- Avoiding Damage: Prevent impacts and scratches by storing the watch in a soft pouch or watch box when not in use. Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, and harsh chemicals, which can damage the ion-plating or stones.
- Stone Care: The 48 stones are set securely but can accumulate residue. A very soft, dry brush can be used gently to remove dust from around the stones if necessary.
