Setup
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, and old finishes. Sand the surface if necessary to achieve a smooth finish.
- Application: Apply a thin, even layer of Osmo Top Oil using a cloth or roller. Follow the grain of the wood.
- Drying Time: Allow the oil to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions. Typically, drying time is relatively quick.
- Multiple Coats: Depending on the surface and desired level of protection, apply additional coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
Compatibility
Osmo Top Oil is compatible with most types of wood. It is specifically designed for furniture and kitchen worktops made of wood.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Maintenance: Reapply Osmo Top Oil as needed to maintain protection and appearance. The frequency of reapplication depends on the surface and usage.
- Avoid: Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents on the treated surface.
