Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation is designed to be straightforward, similar to standard radiators. Ensure the system is depressurized and drained before commencing. Connect the radiator using appropriate plumbing fittings compatible with your existing heating system. It is crucial to follow the manufacturer's specific installation guide. The use of a heating water additive is strongly recommended to optimize performance and protect the radiator's internal components, especially in low-temperature systems.
Compatibility:
This radiator is specifically designed for use with low-temperature heating systems and heat pumps. It is compatible with most standard central heating systems but performs optimally when operating at lower water temperatures (e.g., 35-55°C). Ensure your boiler or heat source can supply water at temperatures suitable for efficient operation of an aluminium radiator.
Care:
To maintain the radiator's finish and performance:
- Cleaning: Wipe the radiator with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the powder-coated finish.
- Maintenance: Periodically check for any leaks or signs of corrosion. Ensure vents are clear. If using a heating water additive, follow its specific maintenance schedule.
- System Checks: Regularly bleed the radiator if air is suspected, and ensure your central heating system is functioning correctly.
