If you're running a ride-on or garden-tractor and have an expansive lawn to maintain, this towed dethatcher from Handy provides the perfect solution and makes an otherwise labour-intensive process quick and easy! Designed to revitalise the turf, its twenty-four spring-loaded metal prongs penetrate down to soil-level, removing any moss, thatch or lateral rhizome build-up that might be inhibiting grass-growth, in turn enabling your lawn to once again flourish and thrive. It's equipped with a weight tray, so it can be ballasted should you require deeper soil-penetration; and it combines a transport handle with large-wheels and lightweight design (18kg) for simple movement when not hooked-up. This model has a highly productive 122cm working-width and is supplied with a universal hitch-pin that makes it compatible with pretty much any make or model of garden-tractor. For the best possible results, the Handy THTD48 Towed Dethatcher should be dragged across the grass in a crisscross pattern. Specifications 122cm (48in) Working Width 24 sprung loaded paired tines Hitch pin included Tray for adding additional weight Transport wheels Single lever transport handle Weight: (NW) 18kg - (GW) 20kg Dimensions: D 31 x W 126 x H 9 cm Colour: Black.
