The jacket is designed for warmth and wind protection; while polyester offers some resistance to light rain, it is not classified as fully waterproof.
Hang the jacket on a sturdy coat hanger to help it retain its shape and prevent permanent creases.
It serves as a great outer layer for mild to moderate winter days, though you may need additional layers underneath in freezing conditions.
Generally, yes, but always check the care label inside the garment to confirm the recommended water temperature and settings.
Petite sizing is specially proportioned to fit women 5'3" and under, with adjustments made to sleeve length and overall garment length.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently rub a lead pencil tip along the zipper track to lubricate it.
Gently shake the jacket after drying to redistribute the filling, or include clean tennis balls in the dryer on a low-heat setting.
To ensure your jacket remains in top condition, follow these care guidelines. Always check the internal garment tag for specific washing instructions, typically recommending a cool, gentle cycle. To maintain the loft of the padding, avoid high-heat tumble drying, which can damage the synthetic fibers. When styling, the jacket works best when worn over thin or medium-weight knitwear to ensure the fit remains comfortable and not restrictive.
