This 5 Metre 1 RCA Male to 1 RCA Male Cable can be used as a subwoofer cable, composite video cable or a digital coaxial cable. These connections have RCA female connections and allow this cable to be run between them for a good quality signal. It can be used for a Digital Coaxial Connection, normally between an audio/video device (CD/DVD player) and an amplifier. It can also be used for a Subwoofer Connection, normally between an amplifier and a subwoofer. Ordinary audio cables aren't designed to handle the complex low frequencies a subwoofer delivers, whereas our cable has been designed with this in mind. It can also be used for a Composite Connection, normally for running a composite video signal (yellow connection) between a source device (DVD player) to a TV. If you require audio as well, a 3 RCA cable would need to be used. The conducting cores are made from oxygen free pure copper conductors which further enhance signal quality. This cable is fully shielded with gas injected dielectric insulation around the conducting cores to eliminate radio frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic (EM) interference. The cable features a 24 carat gold plating for a high quality connection to an RCA port. Any distortions arising from unmatched impedances in the cable are eradicated using dielectric material to maintain the 75 ohm impedance. This cable offers full bandwidth reproduction with an excellent frequency response to produce a high clarity reproduction with a wide dynamic range. The cable also includes cable strain relief to protect the cable, enabling it to be bent in a multitude of directions without breaking.
