FAQs
What age is the Vintage Café Van suitable for?
It is generally recommended for children aged 3 years and older due to the presence of smaller components.
Does the van include a barista doll or figures?
No, the set includes the van, a coffee mug, and a pastry tray; figures are sold separately.
Is the paint used on the van safe for children?
Yes, Le Toy Van uses high-quality, water-based, non-toxic paints for all their wooden toys.
Can the van roll on carpet?
Yes, the wheels are designed to roll on most flat surfaces, including short-pile carpets and hard floors.
How do I clean the wooden pieces?
Wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive scrubbing pads.
Is assembly required upon arrival?
The van comes largely pre-assembled and is ready for play immediately out of the box.
Troubleshooting
Roof or hatch hinge feels stiff
Gently check for any debris in the hinge and ensure it is not being forced; the wooden mechanism should move smoothly with light pressure.
Paint chip or minor scratch
Because it is a wooden toy, minor wear is normal; non-toxic wooden markers or toy paint can be used for minor aesthetic touch-ups.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is minimal as the toy arrives ready for play. To maintain the appearance and structural integrity of the wooden components, keep the van in a dry environment and avoid exposure to water or direct sunlight for extended periods. For cleaning, wipe the surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that might strip the paint or finish. The van is compatible with other Le Toy Van food accessories and standard wooden kitchen play sets, allowing you to expand the café's menu over time.
