FAQs

Is the mud kitchen weather-resistant?

It is made of fir wood, which is suitable for outdoor use, but we recommend treating the wood with a protective sealant to prolong its life.

Does the faucet actually pump water?

The faucet is part of a water box system that relies on gravity or manual refilling; it does not connect to a garden hose.

How many children can play at once?

Thanks to the double-sided design, it is perfect for two children to play simultaneously, one as the cook and one as the customer.

What age range is this intended for?

This playset is generally suitable for children aged 3 years and older.

Are the kitchen accessories included?

Yes, the set comes with 6 kitchen accessories to get your child started immediately.

Troubleshooting

Knobs are not making sound

Ensure the knob assembly is tightly secured and not obstructed by debris or wood shavings from the frame.

Sink is leaking

Check that the sink basin is properly seated within the frame and that no debris is preventing a tight fit.

Wood appears dry or weathered

Lightly sand the affected area and apply a child-safe outdoor wood oil or sealant.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly of the kitchen requires basic tools and should take approximately 45-60 minutes. To maximize the lifespan of the fir wood, it is recommended to apply a wood preservative or outdoor sealant before initial use. Keep the kitchen in a covered area during heavy rain or winter months to prevent moisture damage. The removable sink and water box should be emptied and wiped down regularly to prevent mold growth or mineral buildup from water use.
