Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic mechanical tools, including a socket set and a torque wrench. Begin by removing the sprocket cover to access the countershaft. Secure the rear wheel to prevent rotation, remove the retaining bolt, and slide the old sprocket off the shaft. Ensure the shaft splines are clean before sliding on the new 14T sprocket. Apply a small amount of grease to the splines if necessary. Always replace the retaining hardware if it shows signs of wear and torque it to the manufacturer's specification. To maximize life, clean the chain frequently and ensure the drive system remains properly lubricated.
