FAQs
Can this doormat be used in a high-traffic commercial entrance?
While durable, this doormat is best suited for residential use or low-to-medium traffic areas. For very high-traffic commercial entrances, a more heavy-duty option might be considered.
Is the PVC backing safe for all floor types?
The PVC backing is designed to prevent slipping and is generally safe for most common flooring. However, always test in an inconspicuous area if you have concerns about potential interactions with specific finishes.
How often should I clean the doormat?
For best results, shake out loose dirt daily or as needed. A more thorough cleaning can be done every few weeks or when visibly dirty.
Will the 'Tree of Life' design fade in the sun?
Prolonged and direct exposure to strong sunlight may cause the dark print to fade over time. It's recommended for use in sheltered outdoor locations or indoors to preserve the vibrancy of the design.
What are the dimensions of the doormat?
Please refer to the product listing for specific dimensions, as sizes can vary.
Can the doormat be machine washed?
No, this doormat is not suitable for machine washing. Cleaning should be done by shaking, brushing, or rinsing with water.
Troubleshooting
Doormat is not lying flat
Unroll the doormat and place it in a warm area for a few hours, or weigh down the corners with heavy objects until it lies flat.
Excessive shedding of coir fibers
This is normal for coir mats, especially when new. Shake the mat vigorously outdoors. Shedding should decrease over time with regular use and cleaning.
Mat appears dirty or stained
Shake out loose debris. For stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap and cold water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely.
