The Master Flash Multi 22-102 mm is designed for roofing contractors and DIY enthusiasts who need a reliable, waterproof solution for sealing pipes, vents, or cables passing through metal roofs. Its primary strength lies in its dual-purpose design, allowing it to function as both a standard slide-down unit for new construction and a retrofit wrap-around seal for existing pipes. While it offers excellent versatility for various roof profiles, users should ensure they have the proper cutting tools and sealant application skills to achieve a perfect, long-term waterproof finish.

Yes, the malleable aluminium base is suitable for flat, corrugated, and trapezoidal metal roof profiles.
This specific model accommodates pipes ranging from 22 mm to 102 mm in diameter.
The kit does not include sealant; you must purchase a high-quality, weather-resistant neutral-cure silicone sealant separately.
While the EPDM is durable, it is best to install when temperatures are above freezing to ensure the sealant cures properly and the rubber remains pliable.
Yes, the EPDM material used in Master Flash products is specifically formulated to resist degradation from UV radiation and environmental extremes.
Check that the silicone sealant has formed a complete, gap-free perimeter between the base and the roof, and verify the pipe diameter fits tightly against the trimmed rubber.
Apply more pressure to the malleable aluminium base using a rubber mallet or gloved hands to ensure it is pressed firmly into the valleys and ribs of the metal sheeting.
Ensure the stainless-steel gripper is properly aligned and that no excess sealant is blocking the track, allowing for a flush, secure lock.
To install, first determine the required diameter and trim the cone along the appropriate markings using a sharp utility knife. Ensure the roof surface is clean, dry, and free of debris. When using as a retrofit, apply sealant to the inner seam before engaging the stainless-steel gripper. Use an approved roofing sealant underneath the aluminium base, then fasten the flashing using appropriate screws spaced evenly around the perimeter. Regularly inspect the sealant and the rubber cone for signs of cracking or degradation every 1-2 years, especially in regions with intense UV exposure.
