Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hygiplas pan remains in peak condition, avoid the use of metal utensils that could scratch or degrade the non-stick surface. Instead, opt for silicone or wooden tools. While the pan is durable, it is recommended to wash it by hand with a soft cloth or sponge and non-abrasive detergent to extend the life of the Teflon coating. Ensure the pan has cooled to room temperature before immersing it in water to prevent potential warping from thermal shock. When hanging the pan for storage, ensure it is not knocking against other metal cookware to protect the exterior finish.
