The Homerepublic Single Seater Sofa Protector is designed for homeowners and pet owners looking to extend the lifespan of their furniture by shielding it from spills, stains, and daily wear. Its primary benefit is a water-repellent microfibre surface that balances durability with a sophisticated quilted aesthetic, though users should note that the elasticated band design is specifically optimized for standard-sized single seater armchairs and may require adjustment on non-standard furniture frames.

It is water-repellent, meaning it resists liquid spills, but it is not completely waterproof if liquid is left to sit for an extended period.
The cover is designed for standard single-seater sofas. While it may fit some recliners, it may interfere with the mechanical moving parts.
It depends on usage, but for pet-heavy households, washing once every two weeks is recommended to maintain hygiene.
The microfibre material is durable, but sharp pet claws may snag the threads if they become stuck in the stitching.
When washed in cold water and dried on a low setting, the fabric is resistant to significant shrinkage.
Ensure the elasticated band is pulled taut behind the backrest. If the chair is slippery, consider using furniture grips or rug corners to increase friction underneath.
The water-repellent finish can wear down after repeated washings. Re-apply a fabric-safe water-repellent spray if liquid no longer beads on the surface.
Tumble dry on a low heat setting for 5-10 minutes or lightly mist the fabric with water and smooth by hand.
