Product Information

Full details

The Avilo Easi Pedi is ideal for individuals who experience back pain, limited mobility, or flexibility issues, as it provides a stable, elevated platform for easier foot maintenance. By bringing the foot to a comfortable height, it eliminates the need for awkward stretching or bending during pedicures, though it does require a stable surface like a mattress or chair to provide the necessary leverage for operation.

FAQs

Does the Easi Pedi work with all chair types?

It is designed to work best with chairs that have a cushion you can slide the wedge under. It may not be stable on hard, flat wooden chairs.

What type of batteries are required?

The device requires 3 x AA batteries, which must be purchased separately.

Is the device height adjustable?

The Easi Pedi features a fixed ergonomic angle designed to accommodate most users' comfort levels.

Can I use this for both feet?

Yes, simply move the unit to the left or right side as needed to accommodate the foot you are currently working on.

How much does the unit weigh?

The unit weighs 0.9 kg, making it lightweight and easy to transport.

Can I clean the foot rest with acetone?

It is recommended to use a damp cloth. Harsh chemicals like acetone may damage or melt the plastic surface.

Troubleshooting

The LED light does not turn on.

Ensure the 3 x AA batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and that the battery compartment cover is fully snapped shut.

The wedge slides around during use.

Check that the base is pushed further under the mattress or cushion to ensure there is enough weight applied to the anchor section.

The light is dim.

Replace the existing batteries with a fresh set of high-quality alkaline AA batteries.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Significantly reduces strain on the back and hips
Provides a stable platform for steady application of polish
Flexible LED light improves visibility in low-light environments
Simple, non-electric design that is easy to manage
Fits easily under most standard furniture cushions

Cons

Batteries for the LED light are not included in the box
Requires a heavy furniture item (like a mattress) to anchor it
Not suitable for use on soft, uneven surfaces without a base
Fixed design might not accommodate every foot angle for every user

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Easi Pedi is straightforward: insert 3 x AA batteries into the LED light compartment, ensure the battery cover is secure, and slide the flat portion of the wedge under the chosen piece of furniture until it feels stable. It is compatible with most standard mattresses and armchairs with removable or liftable cushions. To care for the unit, wipe down the plastic surface with a damp cloth after each use to remove any nail dust or polish residue. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that might degrade the finish. Store the unit in a dry place when not in use to preserve the battery life of the LED light.
