Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, ensure you have measured yourself accurately according to the provided size chart on the pattern envelope. Select your knit fabric by checking the stretch percentage; it should ideally have enough recovery to snap back into shape after being pulled. When cutting out your pattern pieces, use sharp fabric shears and consider using pattern weights instead of pins if your fabric is slippery. For long-term care of your finished garments, wash them in cold water on a gentle cycle to maintain the elasticity of the knit and the longevity of the seams.
