No, this is a socket-style wrench that requires a 1/2-inch drive ratchet or torque wrench to operate.
Only if the oil filter housing on those vehicles also features a 66.5mm/14-flute design.
It is designed for manual use with hand-operated ratchets or torque wrenches; using an impact wrench is not recommended.
Consult your vehicle's owner manual or the oil filter packaging to confirm the required removal tool size.
The wrench weighs approximately 0.14kg.
Ensure the filter cover is free of debris and that the tool is pushed flush against the flutes.
Verify that your filter housing is exactly 66.5mm with 14 flutes; it may be the wrong size for your specific engine.
To use this tool, simply attach your 1/2-inch square drive ratchet or torque wrench to the top of the socket. Ensure the wrench is pushed fully onto the oil filter flutes to prevent stripping. Regarding compatibility, this tool is specifically engineered for Ford and Mazda oil filter covers with a 66.5mm/14-flute configuration; verify your vehicle service manual for exact specifications before attempting to use. To maintain the tool, wipe away any residual oil after use to prevent corrosion and store it in a dry environment to ensure the metal integrity remains intact for future oil changes.
