The Despicable Me Gru Fancy Dress Costume is designed for adult fans who want an authentic look for themed parties, conventions, or cosplay events. No, the mask is typically sold separately as an individual accessory.
The costume is crafted from durable and lightweight 100% polyester.
We recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the costume in a washing machine.
The costume is designed in a standard adult fit to accommodate a wide range of body types comfortably.
If necessary, use a cool iron with a pressing cloth to avoid damaging the polyester fabric.
The main costume is available in black, staying true to the character's primary screen appearance.
Hang the costume in a bathroom while running a hot shower to use the steam, or use a garment steamer on a low setting.
Use safety pins discreetly on the inside seams or wear a comfortable base layer underneath to achieve a better fit.
Setting up your Gru costume is straightforward; simply unpack the garment and let it hang to release any wrinkles from shipping. This costume is highly compatible with official Disguise Limited accessories, specifically the adult Gru mask. To care for your costume, avoid machine washing. Instead, spot clean any spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Always air dry the costume away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from puckering or losing its shape.
