Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation involves removing the old rubber differential bushes and pressing in the new Powerflex polyurethane bushes. While no special tools are strictly required beyond standard suspension service tools, a hydraulic press can make the installation process smoother. Ensure the mounting surfaces are clean before fitting.
Compatibility: These bushes are designed for specific vehicle models. Always verify the Powerflex PFR5-426 part number against your vehicle's make, model, and year, and check the fitting position (Rear Differential) to ensure correct application.
Care: Powerflex polyurethane is a low-maintenance material. Cleaning can be done with mild soap and water. Avoid using petroleum-based solvents or degreasers, as these can degrade the polyurethane over time. Regular inspection for any signs of damage or excessive wear is recommended, though failure is rare with proper installation and use.
