The OKODOKO 13Pcs Drill & Tap Bit Set is an essential toolkit for DIY enthusiasts and professionals seeking to streamline their metalworking tasks by combining drilling, tapping, deburring, and countersinking into a single operation. While these tools offer exceptional time-saving benefits for light-duty materials like brass, copper, and plastic, they are not intended for heavy-duty steel or hardened alloys where traditional separate drill and tap bits remain the safer choice for preventing tool breakage.

These bits are optimized for softer metals like brass, aluminum, copper, and thin metal sheets. They are not recommended for stainless steel or hardened alloys.
Yes, they feature a standard 1/4-inch hex shank that works well with impact drivers, though you should exercise caution to avoid over-torquing.
These are designed for thin-to-medium gauge sheet metal and plastic; tapping deep holes (thicker than the length of the tap portion) is not recommended.
The bits are clearly labeled with their respective thread sizes (e.g., M6, 1/4-20) which are etched onto the shank of each tool.
Yes, using cutting oil or a suitable lubricant will significantly improve thread quality and extend the lifespan of the titanium coating.
Reduce drill speed and ensure the drill is perfectly perpendicular; do not apply excessive side-force.
Apply cutting fluid to lubricate the bit and ensure it is not running at too high a RPM for the material.
Verify the 1/4-inch hex shank is fully seated in the quick-change adapter and that the chuck locking mechanism is fully engaged.
To set up your tool, simply pull back the locking collar on your drill's 1/4-inch hex chuck, insert the bit, and release the collar until it clicks into place. This set is compatible with corded and cordless drills, as well as impact drivers that feature a 1/4-inch quick-release shank. After each use, wipe off metal shavings with a clean cloth. To maintain peak performance, apply a light coat of machine oil before storing the bits in their case to prevent oxidation on the high-speed steel components.
