Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged.
- Open your computer case.
- Locate the DIMM slots on your motherboard.
- Align the notch on the memory module with the notch in the DIMM slot.
- Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips on either side snap into place.
- Consult your motherboard manual for optimal slot placement for dual-channel configurations.
- For overclocking, access your system's BIOS/UEFI and enable the Intel XMP 2.0 profile.
Compatibility:
This DDR4 memory is designed for PC/Server use and is compatible with motherboards that support DDR4 memory and the specified speeds (3200MHz). Always check your motherboard's Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for guaranteed compatibility, especially when using XMP profiles.
Care:
- Keep the memory modules in a clean environment, free from dust and debris.
- Avoid touching the gold contacts on the modules; static discharge can damage components.
- Ensure adequate airflow within your PC case to keep the heatspreaders cool.
