The Shires Tempest Original Air Motion Lightweight 0g Turnout Rug is designed for comfort in warmer wet conditions. It features a honeycomb 3D mesh lining across the back that keeps the warm surface of the horse away from the cooler outer fabric, while also spreading pressure evenly. This allows your horse to stay comfortable in warm, wet conditions where moisture can cause issues inside the rug. The rug is a lightweight turnout with a 600 denier rip-stop ShireTex Advanced Fabric Technology and taped seams, with no filling. The Air Motion high-performance 3D mesh fabric lining across the back draws moisture and heat into a cooling, breathable micro-climate away from the skin. It includes adjustable cross surcingles and a fillet string, blanket chest fastenings, and a tail flap. A warmth-boosting thermal system liner is also available. The outer is waterproof, ripstop, breathable, and PFC-free with taped seams. It has adjustable buckle chest straps, double-sided touch close straps on the neck cover, adjustable cross surcingles, an adjustable fillet strap, and a tail flap. Suggested uses include turnout. Care instructions state it is machine washable. Composition is 100% Polyester.
